Sponsored by JBS and King Island Beef, the warm-up race is held on Saturday afternoon at the picturesque British Admiral Beach. Entry (on the day) is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Event Charity.
The course will be approximately 3 km in length (the exact distance will be declared prior to the race start). The winner of the race is the one who runs a time closest to their predicted time.
This event is followed by the “JBS Meat Run” beach sprint.
Where: British Admiral Beach, follow Netherby Rd from Currie.
When: Saturday 11th of March 2017. Sign up from 1.30pm. Event starts 2.00 pm.
Getting There: British Admiral Beach is 4 km from the Currie township. A complimentary return bus service leaving from the cnr Edward St and Netherby Rd.
To Enter: On the day at the venue.
